Arriving in Canada via Express Entry

Express Entry programmes are among the most popular immigration options concerning highly skilled individuals. It’s an application management system that integrates three economic immigration programs that include that of the Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP) and The Canadian Experience Class (CEC) as well as the Federal Skilled Trades Program (FSTP), which are designed to speed up the processing of permanent residency applications for skilled workers.

What is the impact of a NOC on the application for an Express Entry application?

The NOC helps IRCC to determine the nature of an individual’s job and the degree of expertise or experience needed. The NOC 2016 emphasized whether the position was NOC 0 A, B, or (managerial in skilled trades). The NOC 2021 instead implemented a system based on a candidate’s experience, qualifications, education experiences, work experience, and responsibilities (TEER).

Applying for Express Entry

In the beginning, the prospective candidate should determine whether they qualify for the Express Entry program.

They will then have to take a language proficiency test and obtain any required educational Credential Tests. After they have completed these, you must upload their profile on the IRCC website and then wait for an answer. Express Entry employs a point-based system known as the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) that is used to evaluate the profiles of candidates. Each profile is assigned a score and put in the same position as other candidates in the same pool.

Candidates who score the highest get their invitation to apply (ITA), in which case they may apply for permanent residency. Once a candidate has received an ITA and has 60 days to submit an application that is completed to IRCC.

IRCC attempts to process the majority of% from all Express Entry applications within six months following the receipt of the completed application.

Federal Skilled Worker Program

FSWP FSWP has become the sought-after program in the Express Entry for applicants from outside the country. It is designed to help professionals with the required skills who meet the criteria in their working experience and language and have completed their education overseas.

The minimum requirements are one year’s experience in the workplace and the Canadian language benchmark (CLB) score of 7 or more, proof of income and proof of your education. Also, you must score at a minimum 67/100 in the points grid of FSWP.

Canadian Experience Class

The CEC is designed for applicants with at least one year of professional working expertise in Canada acquired within the last three years.

They also must meet an upper limit of CLB 5. (“initial intermediate”) for NOC TEER category 2 and 3 jobs, or the CLB of 7 (“adequate proficient intermediate”) for NOC TEER category 0 and 1 positions.
