What is Express Entry
Express Entry is a system for managing applications. It is a system that is used for the three Federal High Skilled relocation programs, Federal Skilled Workers Program (FSWP), Federal Skilled Trades Program (FSTP), Or Canadian Experience Class (CEC).. Express Entry applicants may be qualified for any or all of these programs.
If you are you are in the Express Entry pool of candidates, IRCC awards points to applicants based on their human capital indicators like working experience, age and education level, their ability to communicate to communicate in English or French as well as other aspects. The candidates with the highest score are then invited to participate to be part of an Express Entry draw.
Express Entry candidates who get assignments from a PNP naturally get 600 CRS focuses to their all out score. This is a guarantee that they’ll receive an ITA at the next Express Entry draw.
In the wake of the pandemic Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has been conducting draws only for PNPs for candidates who require an PNP to be considered.
