Newfoundland and Labrador issues invitations to PNP and AIP candidates

The Newfoundland and Labrador Office of Immigration and Multiculturalism (OIM) has extended over 300 invitations to foreign nationals, giving them the opportunity to apply for permanent residence through provincial immigration streams.

These invitations were issued under two major immigration programs: the Newfoundland and Labrador Provincial Nominee Program (NLPNP) and the Atlantic Immigration Program (AIP).

To be eligible for this draw, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • Have a job or valid job offer in Newfoundland and Labrador; and
  • PHaving an Employer Invitation Code (if required).

Note: Candidates with valid Canadian work authorization do not need an employer invitation code to apply through the NLPNP. However, employer invitation codes are mandatory for:

  • Applicants needing job vacancy assessments, and
  • All candidates applying under the AIP.

Candidates who submit Expressions of Interest (EOIs) without declaring current employment, a job offer, or an employer invitation code (if required), will not be eligible to receive an Invitation to Apply (ITA) for immigration to Newfoundland and Labrador.

More details about the NLPNP can be found on our dedicated program webpage.
