The Immigration Professional reports that Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has just held a major Express Entry draw focused on healthcare and social services workers.
In this round, IRCC issued 500 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) to candidates who are part of the healthcare and social services categories under Express Entry.
To qualify for this draw, candidates needed:
- A Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of at least 510
- An Express Entry profile submitted before 4:31 a.m. UTC on July 21, 2024

Most draws this year have been focused on Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) candidates. The rest were aimed at Canadian Experience Class (CEC) applicants and those in IRCC’s priority categories, such as French speakers, healthcare, and now, education professionals.
