British Columbia: Entrepreneurial Immigration Moves
On January 28, 2025, the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BCPNP) issued invitations under its entrepreneur immigration streams.
- Base Entrepreneur Stream: Issued fewer than five invitations, with candidates required to have a minimum score of 123.
- Regional Entrepreneur Stream: Also issued fewer than five invitations at the same minimum score.
Invitation rounds under the Regional Entrepreneur stream are held approximately every month, while those for the Base stream occur less frequently. The selection for the Base stream can depend on factors like a candidate’s registration score, proposed business location, community population, and whether the business is a startup or an acquisition.
