British Columbia issues invitations, and Manitoba submits applications for provincial nominee programs.

In the most recent PNP draws, invitations were sent out to two provinces.

British Columbia and Manitoba invited candidates to submit applications through the most recent rounds in their provincial nominee program (PNP).

Except for Quebec and Nunavut, most Canadian provinces and territories have PNPs. These programs may allow interested candidates to be invited for nomination. A provincial nomination is an excellent way to gain permanent residence.

Quebec’s immigration programs, which are separate from Canada’s, are administered by the province. Quebec is the only province with control over all economic classes of immigrants.

The Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) accounts for 105,000 PR admits annually. Since its inception, the number of PNP admissions per year has increased steadily. It is a powerful tool for promoting economic development in areas other than urban centers, and it is supported by both the federal and provincial governments.
